| Thanks to Lions District 4-L6 and the National Charity League, the Annual BCC barbeque was a huge success. Seventy picnickers enjoyed hamburgers, hotdogs, creamed corn, baked beans and chips. The National Charity League girls and their moms hosted games, crafts and desserts. Desserts included home baked brownies, ice cream and fresh strawberries. Guests were treated to a trio of ukulele accompanied singers, and crafts which included slime making and bird feeders. North Park Lions brought corn hole boards; a game where you toss bean bags into a hole on the board for points. Thanks to Sprouts of Chula Vista, most party-goers went home with fresh loaf of healthy bread. Thanks to our awesome volunteers and staff who kept things running smoothly. |
