1. Are you able to help with monthly newsletter printing costs? The BCC currently prints 150 large print newsletters each month at UPS or FedEx for our low vision members who are unable to access the online version. We also print Braille copies. A monthly donation of $200 would pay for our printing needs. 2. For our Big Screen TV We need a secure, rolling stand for our 75-inch flat screen TV. We need to be able to move it from the auditorium to elevator and back to the auditorium. 3. For our Computer Center 10 grey, wheeled, office task chairs 4. MTS ticket books Some of our clients do not need help with transportation to and from the BCC. They are able to pay $18 per month for unlimited use of trolley and regular city bus services. Some are able to get rides from family and friends. Many others need MTS Access for transportation. Each MTS Access round trip ticket costs $9.00. Whenever possible, we provide transportation in the form of MTS Access tickets. MTS Access will pick up our folks at home, drive them to the center and then drive them safely home when they are ready to go. Without transportation they may be forced to stay home. Transportation is a very important service for our members. A $500 donation will provide 55 round trips to and from the BCC. 5. For our exercise classes 20 ‘Therapist’s Choice’ Professional Non-Latex Exercise Resistance Bands – light weight = yellow 6. For our crafts projects – we work on crafts all year long! · Red and green cotton fabric. We will cut the fabric into 3-inch squares with pinking shears or a fabric cutter and use for our Holiday wreaths. · White yarn. We can make beards and hair for our milk jug Santas. · ½” hot glue sticks for finishing beaded light projects. · Craft felt – all colors – for our candy cane mice. · Wine corks – for our cork wreaths
