DESCRIPTION:Taught by Jill Coleman in the Craft Room \nMake your own mug\, a tactile vase\, a holiday ornament or your own creation.  $5 cost for each project.  Sign up for each class by calling 619-298-5021 and leave a message on ext. 206 at least one week before the class you want to attend. The minimum number of sign-ups to hold class is five\, so ask your visually impaired and blind friends to join you at ceramics class. This class is for beginners and experienced ceramists.  Students will learn to hand work with clay and/or work on projects made from ceramics molds.

Priority placement in classes will be given to members first.\n3. The first 10 people who sign up for Mondays will receive a callback and be given a reservation date and time to attend class.\n4. The first 10 people who sign up for Tuesdays will receive a callback and be given a reservation date and time to attend class.\n5. The second group of 10 people who sign up for each day will be confirmed for the second week in June. Please remember\, the signups are just for craft classes for now. DESCRIPTION:Taught by BCCSD Member Elia Gonzalez \nElia has more than 15 years’ experience teaching nutrition and physical activity in schools and community centers.  It is an interactive\, nutritional and physical activity workshop.  Come and learn how to eat well and learn about easy techniques to keep your body healthy.  The workshop is designed specifically for blind and low vision participants.  \nContent of the class will include\, among other topics\, understanding of serving sizes\, and balancing calories in and calories out. You will learn about food groups\, and the importance of physical activity in our lives.
